"A Fool Never Learns" by Andy Williams

I was digging through a pile of 45's and found this one I had completely forgotten about when I posted all of my favorite Andy Williams songs a few months ago.

"Green Eyes" by Tommy Dorsey

This one is messy, I'm not sure I remember which version of this song I liked best.  I definitely like the first one by Tommy Dorsey (Orchestra?).  I also included the original (?) Jimmy Dorsey version and a live TV version with the Ray Anthony Orchestra from 1953.

"Overcome" by Tricky

For years I thought the artist's name was Maxinque and the album title was "Tricky", yes, I had it backwards.

"The Ledge" by The Replacements

Oops, I screwed up when I first posted this and had already posted "Can't Hardly Wait" a few weeks ago.  What can I say: bad memory!

"Cross the Border" by Icehouse

Yet another great song by Icehouse, there are still more by them that I will post later, but for now this is the last one.

"Angel Street" by Icehouse

A friend of mine (Lou Ann) first played this for me, it's been one of my favorite Icehouse songs since.  So many people come in and out of your life over the years.  So many that you lose track of and I always wonder where they are are now.

"Miss Divine" by Icehouse

I'm always excited when I find there is an official video for a song.  It's always fun to see.

"The Captain of Her Heart" by Kurt Maloo

I've always loved the original version by Double and the versions by Kurt Maloo are just heavenly (and remixed by Michael Cretu of Hubert KaH and Enigma fame).

"Wrong Time" by Double

I can't find this on YouTube, I don't know if it is just not there or if the search terms "Double Wrong Time" are just too generic.

"Someone to Lay Down Beside Me" by Linda Ronstadt

I remembered yesterday's song on a Asylum Records 45 and it reminded me of another 45 with the same Asylum label, but I couldn't remember the artist or the title of the song.  The Internet came to the rescue and I found a list of Asylum 45's: http://www.globaldogproductions.info/a/asylum-elektra.html

I didn't realize until now that song was written by Karla Bonoff, I like her version as well.

"Because the Night" by Patti Smith Group

Another one of those songs I can't believe I haven't posted before now.  It was years before I found out that Bruce Springsteen wrote it.

"On A Clear Day (You Can See Forever)" by Robert Goulet

I remember having an instrumental version of this song on a record that was part of a box set from Radio Shack.  I couldn't find that version on YouTube of course, but this is a great version by Robert Goulet.
