I first heard this song in a funny way, I was in an airplane flying home, somewhere over the Midwest. I had my
Walkman with me and normally listened to cassettes on it. For some reason I was messing around with the built-in radio and picked up a station that was playing this song. I really liked it and was worried that I would be out of range before I could find out what it was. But fortunately, they announced the artist and title just before I lost the signal.

What made me think of this song was that I was thinking this morning how one of the evil things about MS is that it makes one not be able to trust themselves.
For sometime I have thought how I can't trust my hands, I will think I am carrying something in my hand (glasses, keys, gloves, etc.) and when I go to use whatever it is discover my hand is empty. And the inverse is true as well: I can pick up something, and later discover that I have stuff in my hand that I had no idea I was carrying. For example, I thought I pulled an audio cable out of a box and discover I was also carrying an extension cord and headphones.
My memory has been flaky for sometime, but has gotten extremely so lately. I can't remember things for even a few seconds. If I think of two things at once, by the time I get a pencil and paper to write them down I almost never remember them both, sometimes I can't remember either.
