"More Than I Can" by Jane Jensen

This came on KCQN this morning and I was like "I love this song", I couldn't remember what it was and had to look on the web page: http://kcqnutah.com/ so I could post it here.

Note: it was part of the Obscurity File weekend, so you don't normally hear it on KCQN.

"Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen" by Steve & Eydie

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Eydie Gorme today.  Steve and Eydie have the distinction of being the first LP record my family owned.  It was included with the new Westinghouse record player my Grandfather bought.  This song is one of my favorites from that album.

Unfortunately, I could not find their version by itself on YouTube, but I did find this one with 3 different versions of the song and I find I enjoyed all three.

I also found this great version of the song by the Benny Goodman Quartet (Sextet?) on a 78 RPM record.

"Pusherman" - Curtis Mayfield

Putting the wheel hub back together
After she was put back toogether, I took CeCE to check our P.O. Box
And to Jitter Bug Coffee Hop
I'm (Rachel) filling in my old (Scott's) blog using songs from my old "favorites" cassette tapes (see my posts on March 1st and July 15th).  This song isn't actually on the cassette, it just popped up on YouTube when I was posting yesterdays song.

I'm writing this post on 15-Mar-2020.  After I fixed the CeCe (the Plymouth), I drover her to the Post Office and Jitter Bug Coffee Hop.  Bruce at Jitter Bug is my coffe "pusherman" of choice LOL
