I'm a transgender woman who has loved music for as long as she can remember. My earliest memories are of sitting or laying on the floor and listening to 45's and 78's. Music is and has been the essential part of my life.

"Overcome" by Tricky
For years I thought the artist's name was Maxinque and the album title was "Tricky", yes, I had it backwards.
